FAQ

1. Is admission guaranteed?

Tickets for all television and radio shows/events produced before a live studio audience are free and distributed in excess of studio capacity to compensate for "no shows". Seats are limited and ticket holders will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the capacity of the studio. Admission is not guaranteed for any show/production.

2. What happens if we're not admitted?

Guests who are not admitted may be offered priority pass seating to a future recording of the same show OR A different show**. The ApplauseStore® Audience Manager at the studio will provide all the necessary information on the night. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover or pay for any travel/accommodation costs that may have been incurred. ApplauseStore® Productions reserve the right to refuse any person/s admission.

**Subject to availability.

3. What time should we arrive at the studio?

Sadly there is no exact time we can give you to arrive at the studio. All entrance is served on a first come first served basis so we can only advise you to arrive as early as you can before the 'arrive by' time on your ticket. If your eTicket clearly states 'Priority ticket' then YOU MUST be at the studio no later than the 'arrive by' time or your priority status will become void.

4. Are there age restrictions?

Yes. These are set by the producers of the shows and not by ApplauseStore®. We are not authorised to make exceptions. Most shows require audience members to be at least 16 or 18, due to their content, although some admit children as young as 8, 10 or 14 years old. Specific information can be found on our website and on the eTickets, or at the time of booking from one of our Audience Researchers.

5. How long does the show last?

Most half-hour and hour-long programmes take at least 2 to 3 hours to record one episode. The actual time depends on a number of factors including possible re-takes of scenes (the 'cock-up's' you don't see at home) or technical problems. Please allow enough time for your visit to the studio. Most shows that are transmitted live last the length of the broadcast plus an hour for loading and unloading.

6. How do we find the studio/location?

Our shows are recorded and/or transmitted from many different studios and locations all around the world. A map and directions providing general travel information to each venue/studio/location can be found via the 'Studios' link on the navigation bar at the top of our website. We recommend that you find more detailed information prior to setting off for the journey. Please be sure to allow plenty of time for traffic and parking.

7. Are our shows accessible to persons with disabilities?

We are seriously committed to making sure every taping is equally accessible to persons with disabilities. If you or anyone in your party has special needs and requires assistance to attend a taping, please ensure you email us at least 48 hours in advance of the taping to make arrangements. We provide accessible seating (as well as companion seating) and other accommodations at all tapings to all persons with disabilities.

If you (or any member of your party) require accessible parking due to disability, please ensure you inform us at least 48 hours prior to the show date. To park you must clearly display a valid, government-issued handicap placard. Disabled parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and limited on the Lot. If the designated disabled parking is full, alternative arrangements (including drop-offs) may be made to assist those with disabilities.

The availability of accessible seating cannot be assured if the number of audience members requiring accessible seating at any given taping exceeds the allotted number of seats. Individuals with disabilities, who have confirmed reservations for accessible seating, including disabled guests with service dogs, must arrive no later than 60 minutes prior to the door opening times stated on this eTicket for audience processing and check-in with an ApplauseStore® Audience Manager.

If disabled individuals with confirmed reservations do not arrive by this scheduled processing start time, their reservation for accessible seating can no longer be held and may be released on a first-come, first-served basis, first to audience members with disabilities and then to guests who do not require such seating.

8. What does 'Priority Pass' mean?

On certain occasions, guests of the production company and/or celebrity friends or relatives who are appearing on the show will be supplied tickets/etickets with Priority Pass clearly stated. They are asked to go straight to the front of the audience queue to announce their arrival to the ApplauseStore® Audience Manager and are usually placed in a separate queue. Please note: Priority Pass ticket holders will be detailed on the Audience Manager's guests list and must announce their arrival. 'Priority Pass' ticket holders must strictly arrive no later than 45 minutes before the 'door opening' time as stated on the ticket. WITHOUT EXCEPTION late arrival will void any form of priority pass access.

9. The selling of free television/radio audience tickets?

ApplauseStore® operates a completely FREE ticket service. However, it has been brought to our attention that some people have been selling/advertising our exclusive free tickets on various websites including eBay. We take this matter very seriously. Anyone who is found to be selling/advertising their allocation will instantly make them void and may also face formal proceedings against them. If you have bought or know anyone advertising our exclusive free tickets for sale, we would very much like to hear from you.

10. Can we arrange tickets for a large group or social club?

We do accept advance reservations for groups. Parties of eleven people or more will be asked to fax or email over a list of confirmed names and a copy of a coach receipt (if applicable) no less than seven days prior to the recording/transmission date. We also advertise when we are taking group bookings for certain shows here on our Show Schedule page.

11. Do ApplauseStore® provide transportation?

No, we have no services available for individuals. However, we can possibly provide information on reliable coach companies for groups of 40 or more that have made advance reservations.

12. Is there parking at the studio and is it free?

Most studios that are outside city centres provide audience parking for free. If you visit a studio with 'street parking' (on the city roads), please be advised that you park at your own risk. Be sure to read the signs for parking restrictions (if any). If you choose to park in a public car park near a studio, you will be responsible for the parking fee.

13. Is food & drink available at the studio?

Some studios do have bars/cafes available, and some shows occasionally provide free snacks and drinks. However, we suggest that you plan on eating before you go to the studio as there may not be food or snacks available.

14. Will we be able to meet the celebrities or guests appearing on the show?

Although the 'stars' enjoy having you in the studio as their guests, they are working, and time does not permit personal interaction with each and every audience member. On certain occasions, there may be an opportunity for a handshake or an autograph, but we can't promise that simply due to time constraints and the number of guests involved.
